Our mission is to deliver exceptional legal services that delight every client. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our Court of Protection team as a legal assistant. Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to one of the solicitors in the team, assisting with their casework in an administrative support role.
Assist in managing client appointments, maintaining calendars, and scheduling meetings.
Prepare and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Handle client inquiries and maintain regular communication to ensure a seamless client experience.
Collaborate with solicitors, paralegals, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
Organise and maintain client files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
Requirements:
Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a law firm or legal environment or alternatively working with older or vulnerable people.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record-keeping.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
An understanding of Court of Protection work is desirable but not essential. Training will be provided.
